  • Member Graduates from Sheriffs Academy

    Congratulations!  One of our very own Dispatchers has graduated from the Sacramento County Sheriffs Academy to become a Police Officer.  This is an extraordinary accomplishment.  She is a valued member of our team and we are very proud of her!

    We are proud of Officers Smith and Stanely for playing in the Guns and Hoses Pig Bowl.  Stanley has received the prestigious Rudy Award.  Congratulations!  It is an honor to receive this award as it recognizes the most inspirational team member.

  • Guns and Hoses Pig Bowl 2008

    Two of our very own are playing in the 6th Annual Guns and Hoses Pig Bowl XXXIV on Saturday 26 January 2008 at 1300.  CSUS is hosting the event this year.  We are very proud of Smith and Stanley for representing our agency and law enforcement.  Gates open at 1100 and kickoff is at 1300.  Come out to support them and see them play!

  • New Name Selected

    Tuesday 8 January 2008

    The Measure B School Board has selected Twin Rivers Unified School District as the new name for the district.  With over 300 names suggested by the community, the Board narrowed down the list and selected the name by a majority vote.  Some of the top contenders included favorites like Capitol City, Capitol Valley and Sacramento Valley.

    Look out for the new Twin Rivers Police Department and Twin Rivers Police Officers Association logos and patches.
