POLITICAL ACTION AND LEGISLATION
The Association takes an active interest in local and state legislative elections. The POA PAC supports candidates and ballot measures that support law enforcement and share a similar philosophy and oppose those against us.
The Police Officers Association Board of Directors also serves as the POA PAC or Political Action Committee. Our decisions are based upon a thorough research and interview process.
We support candidates and ballot measures that support and would be of benefit to us. After identifying ideal candidates, we provide endorsement and support to candidates, campaigns or issues.
A good working, professional relationship and candid dialogue with candidates and officials is important. We make our position known and that we will be heard. All of this is crucial to achieve our goals.
